Apartment for up to 10 people in Tuscany – a stay in the Valtiberina

The Large Apartment is on the ground floor of our farmhouse, a typical Tuscan building, with direct access to the outdoor area through three French windows. This spacious apartment sleeps up to 10 people and is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing stay in the Valtiberina, surrounded by nature.

Apartment features

The apartment looks out on three sides, with spectacular views:

  • Side 1: overlooking the picturesque hamlet of Cà del Bocca and the traditional stone well in the private garden.
  • Side 2: views over the Valtiberina valley, the ancient Pieve di Micciano church and our olive grove, which lies in the part of the garden reserved for this apartment. The garden has a gazebo with table, chairs, lighting and a power socket, perfect for lunch and dinner outdoors.
  • Side 3: views over the garden in front of the main façade of the building and towards the nearby oak and chestnut woods.

Rooms and furnishings

  • Double bedroom: a spacious room with a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chairs, all in Tuscan style. The wardrobe has extra blankets and pillows for maximum comfort. The room is well lit by bedside lamps and wall lights and has a radiator to keep it warm in winter.

  • Triple bedroom: one of the brightest rooms, with a double bed, a single bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chairs in Tuscan style. The room faces two sides: a window to the south-east and a French window to the south-west with direct access to the garden. It has extra blankets and pillows, bedside lamps and wall lights, and is also heated by a radiator.

  • Family bedroom: this large room has a double bed (made of two single beds) and three single beds, for a total of 4 or 5 beds. It comfortably sleeps large families or groups of friends. The double bed can be split, giving a total of 5 single beds. The room is bright thanks to the window and French window overlooking the east-facing garden. The wardrobe holds extra blankets and pillows. Like the other bedrooms, it is heated by a radiator.

    Family bedroom
The family bedroom has 4 single beds, two of which can be joined to make a double bed. A fifth single bed can be added if needed
    • Bathroom: the bathroom has a toilet, bidet, washbasin and corner shower, is furnished in rustic style and has an opening window. It is equipped with a wall-mounted hairdryer, mirror and radiator. The floor is terracotta and the walls are tiled in ceramic. Like the rest of the apartment, the ceiling has wooden beams. The bathroom also has its own thermostat, so its temperature can be set separately from the other rooms.
    • Hallway: the entrance hall separates the sleeping area (double, triple and family bedrooms) from the living room with kitchen. Here you will find the thermostat for the whole house. The hallway has a fire extinguisher and a small boiler room for storing brooms and the clothes airer.

    Living room with kitchen

The living room with kitchen is a single spacious room with direct access from outside through a glass door with inner shutters. The rustic-style kitchen is fully equipped and runs along one side of the room, next to the door to the triple bedroom. On the opposite side there is a table, a flat-screen TV and a small fridge. For larger groups there is also a second fridge. The room also has a sofa and a reading lamp. The terracotta floor and wooden-beamed ceiling create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room has a carbon monoxide and methane detector.

The garden

The part of the garden reserved for the Large Apartment includes a gazebo with a table, benches, light and power socket. There is also a large olive grove and an old stone well, plus a lawn where sun loungers are set out in summer.
