Apartment for 2–3 people at Cà del Bocca – your own corner of paradise in Tuscany

The Small Apartment is on the first floor of our farmhouse, a typical Tuscan rural building, and is reached by an external stone staircase, decorated in summer by a climbing rose and colourful surfinias on the balcony. The apartment is ideal for couples but can sleep up to 3 people, with an extra bed available in the main bedroom.

The apartment enjoys breathtaking panoramic views on three sides: one towards the hamlet of Cà del Bocca and its characteristic stone well, one towards the Valtiberina valley, the ancient Pieve di Micciano church and the surrounding olive grove, and the last one towards a garden that is private and reserved exclusively for this apartment.

Apartment features

  • Double bedroom: the apartment has a spacious bedroom furnished in Tuscan style. It has two panoramic windows with lovely views: one towards the well and the other towards the valley and the olive grove. The double bed comes with bedside tables, a small table, chairs, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe, where you will find extra blankets and pillows. A folding bed for an adult or a cot for children can be added, bringing the apartment’s capacity to a maximum of 3 people. Lighting is provided by bedside lamps and wall lights. The room is heated by two cast-iron radiators to keep you comfortable in winter.

  • Bathroom: the bathroom has a toilet, bidet, washbasin and a corner shower with sliding doors. It also has a wall-mounted hairdryer, an opening window, an extractor fan and a heated towel rail. The walls are tiled in ceramic and the floor is laid with terracotta tiles in true rustic Tuscan style. Like the rest of the house, the bathroom has a wooden-beamed ceiling.

  • Living room with kitchen: this open-plan room has its own entrance from outside. The rustic-style kitchen is fully equipped and runs along one of the long sides of the room. On the opposite side there is a sideboard with drawers, a flat-screen TV and the Wi-Firouter. The living area also has a sofa, an old bricked-up door that once connected the apartment to the one next door, and a small bookcase. A floor lamp creates a cosy corner for reading on the sofa. Like the other rooms, the living room has a wooden-beamed ceiling and a terracotta floor. The kitchen runs on natural gas and has a carbon monoxide detector.
  • Hallway: the hallway connects the bedroom, living room and bathroom. Here you will find the thermostat for the heating and a storage chest for brooms and cleaning tools. There is also a fire extinguisher.

Private garden

The Small Apartment has its own reserved garden, reached by the external staircase. This outdoor space has an extendable wooden table, chairs and sun loungers for sunbathing in summer, plus a large sun umbrella for shade. The garden is full of aromatic plants such as rosemary, as well as cypresses, olive, medlar, fig and walnut trees, creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. A covered parking space under a canopy is available inside the garden.
